Here is my FRIENDS Swap I received from Joann. This year was a little tougher with me having sick parents and Joann being sick a couple days. I forgot to take a picture of the things that I sent to Joann but I embroidered her 2 tea towels with Roosters on them because she said her kitchen is roosters. The funny part was alot of the ladies at the quilt shop wanted to know if I would embroider some for them...my answet "NO"...heheheh..anyway here is what Joann came up with on the swap..as most of you know from my past years you have to spell the word FRIENDS with your gifts F - Fat Quarters R - Rotary Blade, Ribbon I - Inspirational book E - Emery boards (she didn't know I don't have any nails but I can use them on my daughter) heheheh N - Notebook D - She was unable to think of anything S - Sewing project which is the Scarecrow underneath the gifts Thank you Joann for being my partner this year. FRIENDS SWAP 2011

Look at all my pretty gifts!...Khris held the annual FRIENDS SWAP..where you spell the word FRIENDS with your gifts...I had ANOTHER wonderful and generous friend this year.. her name is Marilyn from California, she sent me ALL of these wonderful and creative gifts. Here is the way she did it..

S - Selvage Bag...always wanted to make one but I cut through mine al the time before I think about it....
She did a wonderful job on coming up with creative ideas...Thank you again Marilyn so very much...I love everything and can't wait to make one of the new patterns!
I was blessed again this year with another wonderful partner...last year I had Peg ...I have to admit I am sad to say that I have not been keeping up with blogging this year because of so many family demands but I still feel as though I have blessed by meeting people through blogging that I would never have gotten to meet other wise...Marilyn and Peg I thank you both for your gifts that as I use them and look at them I will always know that I have met you and have become dear FRIENDS....blessings

Secret Santa Swap Tease

Ok Ladies..here is my tease...this is what I made for my Secret Santa Swap On Joan's blog ...Its a welcome winter banner that can be used through the whole winter..of course if you know me you know I don't like winter but keeping in the theme of things...and I really didn't want to make it too Christmasy although I do LOVE Christmas and all it stands for...but anyway...Someone is going to be receiving this banner very soon in the mail...but sshhhh....its a secret...I hope she likes it..it was great fun making it....I used alot of decorative stitches to create the different snowflakes..it was on Bernina's webinar the other night...it was great fun...now I need to make another one for myself but luckily I only have to restitched and quilt it together..not redesign it...blessings to you all

Looky looky looky!!!...I got the coolest pressies....can you believe it...they are ALL BEAUTIFUL! Friends Swap Partner

Well the other day I received my Friends Swap partner name from Khris's blog (www.sewprimkhris.blogspot.com) ...I am so excited about this swap...my partner is Peg from happyinquilting.blogspot.com ...she is from Australia and seams to be alot like me..poor girl..hehehe....but of course there is one BIG difference...she loves to do hand stitcher....yug....sew I am sitting here...thinking..(I know what your thinking..already the girl is in trouble)..hehehe...what shall I send someone so cool to spell out FRIENDS....I can't wait to figure out the beauties...until there this little quilting elf must get into her stash and figure out what to make someone so talented....oh boy..this is sew exciting.....what have you all been up to in your quilting or crafting rooms....do share...blessings
