Wedding Quilt and New Beginnings

Aww...aren't they so cute...my stepson married his beautiful bride yesterday...everything went well and they are happily on their way to their honeymoon in Nagshead, NC. On my end I am so glad its all done and over with and that there were no snags along the way...As I promised you I am posting a picture of the quilt that Vinny had asked me to make for his wedding night...on the day they came to tell us of their engagement it was one of the first things he asked me to do and I was tickled to death...she knew nothing about it as far as I know..all he said was full size and blue....I made it a little larger then full in case they changed their bed size before the big day since they both lived singly up until yesterday.....it is the first real quilt I did on my longarm too......I also made pillowcases to match and embroidered pillowcases..I just remembered I had promised to post pictures of the shower gifts I made for each guest but I will have to see if I can find those pictures later....I hope this post finds you all well and rested...I hope to post more often because I have been very busy quilting ...blessings

You did a wonderful job on the quilt--it is beautiful. The Lovers Knot is the first quilt I made especially for our home--it's still on the couch, but needs to be replaced after 20 years of use, lol.
