My Faithful Friends

I just have to send ALL my faithful friends a big hug...one for being in constent prayer for my daughter and two for not giving up on me and my lack of blogging to keep you all updated...It has been a very long and trying 4 months but we were finally able to get my daughter out of the hospital and into home therapy....she spent almost 6 weeks in the hospital and then almost 3 months in a nursing home...I had been traveling back and forth 92 miles each way to visit her at first everyday..then every other day and finally once a week toward then end...I thank God for her group home and the staff that stayed with her 24/7 and will continue now that she is home...she still has a long road ahead as she has no use of her right leg but has been able to teach her brain to make her hip doing the lifting...she has little use of her right hand and arm but because she was a lefty and righty she has compensated with her left for what her right can't do...it will take several months of home therapy to really know how much she will ever get back but we are thanking God for what she has been able to do....
When I signed onto my blog tonight for the first time in 4 months I thought I would see that alot of you had left me...but I see your all still nere and I can't send you enough hugs to say thank you....
So to make a long story a little shorter I hope to get some quilty things done and posted....I did get a lot of machine embroidery done for my step sons bridal shower and they were a big hit...made me smile to see it and to be a special part of their day of memories...I will post pictures of my bag of goodies in the next couple days...thank you all again so much...I will post again soon...blessings

Sending your daughter lots of healing hugs and for you too.
Nice to read she is slowly getting to do things again and be in her own home.
Be nice for you to be able to sit and do a little stitching again.
Will be lovely to see the things you made for the wedding.
